Hello,
I have to make a 90º shifter in 25-40MHz.
I'll use it as I/Q baseband signals of an I/Q modulator.
On I/Q modulator, the phase difference and amplitude balance between I signal and Q signal are very important. For optimum performance, this phase difference and balance must be low, less...
What type of xtal oscillator have you got? and the xtal freq?
The phase noise in xtal @100KHz is very poor.
At 2GHz, you can reach better than -100dBc/Hz with any VCO locked to a 10MHz OCXO with PLL (like ADF4113)

Oh, I forgot it.
The 120 MHz oscillator is based on a xtal at 120MHz.
Or also, a 60 MHz xtal with x2 stage.
Can anybody suggest any xtal manufacturer?
Thanks again
Hi!
I have to design a very low phase noise 120MHz oscillator locked to 5MHz.
Any suggestion for this oscillator schemetic? :?:
And, about phase locked structure (SPD, prescaler, PLL, ...)? :?:
Thanks in advance
dielectric resonator model
It's a puck dielectric resonator.
Er=43.5
D=6.3mm
H=2.7mm
Q=5000 @9GHz
It will be coupled to a microstip line to RF transistor and to another microstipline for varactor tunning.
Can you help me?
Thanks
