Hi, I'm trying to create a cylinder by parameters like r_in as it's smaller radius...but it gives me the following error :
unable to evaluate expression "r_in".
(that's when I gave it r_in=2.5,and I have no error when I set it to 3.4 or some other values)
Thanks:roll::roll:but I want to learn how to write the code using Codevision ,as I said I enabled USART in Codewizard and wanna know the next step to receive data by my RFID reader....it's "RF01D" by the way.
can you please tell me the next steps?
for example by what function in my USART...
Hi again.
--------------------------------
Ok, let me make it more clear.
In first step just guess I wanna read RFID tags and just put them in variable like "tag[i]".
My hardwares : ATmega 32, RF01d , tags
...yes it simply sends data:bang: but how can I receive it?
what changes should I apply...
of course I've done it but couldn't find what I need...and almost never tried RFID before so I asked for help!
I'm not sure about it but I guess it sends 14 bytes ...10 bytes for tag's serial number and others are headers ,...(it's RF01d if you know its exact amount let me know)

Hey there , I wanna know how can I use USART to write a code by codevision ( and codewizard) to read an RFID(it's RF01D)
and I have ATmega16/32 for it...How can I use of USART interrupt for it?
How many bytes should be my buffer size?
I wonder why my manual values of capacitors and inductors are not even close to the values ADS gives ...
- - - Updated - - -
I got these using ADS:
and
but I have these values from manual calculations:
for example : C1 = 0.1066 pF , L1= 19.3919 nH
What's wrong?
yes, that's what I want

Now, I'm trying to design it using "Passive Circuit DG - Microstrip Circuits" feature of ADS...when click the "design "it shows the following warning ..how can I modify it?
I am using that but ... I can't even set my filter order ...
When I choose a low-pass filter I can set the filter order easily but for a band-pass filter, it doesn't work...
so I have 2 problems now!
1- I can't set filter order using Filter Design Guide (N=5, e-r,bans-pass)
2- then attenuation...
I really don't know whats the next step to implementation ... I just can extract inductance and capacitance from Pozar's table or using ADS(without attenuation ,...)
