If uses a single NPN transistor to drive LEDs, can anyone tell me what is the advantage and disadvantage to put those LEDs at collector (graph A) or at emitter terminals (graph B)?

Dear all,
I would like to know the main cause of TDD noise in mobile phone, can anyone explain to me? Why shunt capacitor on the trace can reduce this noise? And is it related to ratiatied intererence e.g. Signal from mobile's antenna?

You mean debug the receiver frequency response on hardware or software side?
I am working on a mobile phone which using Skywork platform, the RX freq response can be fine tuned by their software.

As i know, varistor is used for EMI and ESD purpose. But, for a GSM handset, which part is needed to protect by it (RF, baseband, or keypad). And also, How should i choose between the varisotr and ESD diode for ESD purpose.

I have designed a GSM cell phone , when i do the RF measurement using HP 8960, the peak phase error and freqeuency error failed.
I wonder that when the phase error display in graph mode, only the first few bits got failed (i.e. bit 0 to 2 in a burst), but all other bits got pass...

I am going to design a tri-band patch antenna, it's a rectangular patch with a probe and a shorting pin at the right upper corner. Could you advise me how to cut the slot that can achieve tri-band operation.
