This is an example of applying what you know w/o the rigor of a formula. there are similar exercises like you mentioned. the primary idea is to realize that if the total R is more than a single R then you will need a series connection, if it is less a parallel of some type.
I remember a problem...
An op amp adder circuit comes to mind. make an op amp input for each channel with a control in the feedback on each for gain and then all connect to another op amp with its output as input to a preamp.
depending on the voltage available the resistors or slide pots need to be adjusted...
The simple way to convert single phase to 3 phase is get a single phase motor and a 3 phase motor and connect them via a belt. The pully wheel has to be matched for the necessary RPMs. Connect the single phase motor to the AC line, having the 2 motors mounted and connected by a pully, have a...
I always think of the train engineer shoveling coal example. There are 2 engineers (Instruction decode) and each are shoveling coal into the flame (processing units). There are some limitations, both can't access the coal at the same time (like memory). While 2 slower coal shovellers can shovel...
This sounds like a hw problem. How ever here is the solution in steps.
Originally there are 10 bulbs @ 2.4v = 24 volts.
The first step is realizing 10 LEDs @ 2.1 is 21 volts.
We specify 20 mA is the desired operating current.
24 - 21 = 3 volts.
3v/ 20mA = 150 Ohms.
we have 3 100 Ohm resistors...
Vaguely recall the 8051C;
What most people think as serial transmission is actually called baud, which for simplicity purposes we will say is a change in bit value. bps and baud are not exactly the same thing but for any but the most technical discussion they are interchangeable. The main thing...
