Considered this myself but Gould went belly up in 2014. This design is circa 2017-2018.

Found it myself. The V100 seems to be some sort of ARM Cortex processor.
I stumbled onto this IC in tearing down an IR remote controller for a Roku.
I don't recognize the manf's logo, let alone the chip part number.
Anybody have a guess?
I am curious how engineers are managing their jobs and life while the social distancing mandates are in place. Are you working from home? Has your employer suspended development efforts that require collaboration over a test bench? Are you doing software simulation in lieu of hardware debug? Are...
I am trying to ID this chip that is on an electronic toy but the SMD codes aren't coming up in any of the references I am aware of. Anybody have any ideas?
I have combed through my SMD references and I can't find this one. It may be a Li-ion battery charger slash power management device judging by its position on the PCB. Any help would be appreciated.
According to Wikipedia: The term "Internet of Things" was coined by Peter T. Lewis in a 1985 speech given at a U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) supported wireless session at the Congressional Black Caucus 15th Legislative Weekend Conference. In his speech he states that "The Internet...
I am analyzing a cell phone circuit and encountered these two ICs which I have not been able to identify, not even the chip manufacturer. Does the IC logo look familiar to anyone on this forum? thanks.
Had an interesting experience recently. We ran an informal contest on powerelectronictips.com wherein anyone who aced a ten-question quiz got a free copy of Alex Lidow's new eGaN book. I was surprised that relatively few people even were willing to even take a ***** at the quiz. So here's a...
FYI, if you are pretty good with power circuits you have a chance to win a free textbook from Alex Lidow on GaN FETs -- the book is worth about $100. But the questions aren't easy: https://www.powerelectronictips.com/pop-quiz-ace-egan-fet-quiz-win-textbook-egan-uber-guru/
