    Start with PIC18F452...

    The search button on this site will get you off to a good start. Why the PIC18F452 its obsolete, If I where starting with the Microchip range today I would use the 16F range as there is just so much good material around. Its then a small step up to the 18f etc. There is a very good 16F guide...

    What is your -ve voltage is less than -16 Volts then use the 555 but connect [555 VCC] <-> GND and [555 GND] <-> -ve

    Can I use 89c51 gpio pin to receive data from a GPS receiver?

    Re: Regarding : 89c51 I would use the hardware RX / TX for the transceivers and use a software interrupt driven ‘bit bang’ RX for the GPS.

    Difficulty interfacing Atmega32 with GSM mobile ............

    max232 atmega db9 I’m not sure with the Ericson but most Mobile serial interfaces are 3.3 Volts so you may not need the MAX 232. The MAX232 translates [PC +- 12volt] to uC 5volts. If your ATmega32 is running at 3.3 Volts then you should be able to connect with just a couple of current limiting...
