Why MOSFET must be biased in saturation region for amplification instead of triode region?
i have realised that hand analysis is much easier by biasing the mosfet in the saturation, but now equipped with simulation tools, triode region might give us some improvements on the functions of...
you can write a fourier series for an aperiodic signal on a certain region, e.g [-A,+A], and take the length of the region, i,e 2A, as the period. by doing so, the original function becomes periodic, and you could write its fourier series over [-A,+A].
if the corresponding chips are not well adopted by the industry, would i be able to find a job after i graduate with PHD in about 5 years time? thanks:grin:

i am fine. don't worry about it! could u pls give me some insights then?
i graduated from a lowsy university from Singapore,a small place. please don't despise me becos of my origin and poor mastery of enginnering "common sense". i am a poor newbie, please give me some advice on the prospects of the MM wave/60Ghz technology:oops:
could someone help me prove the following statement in my textbook?
"replacing s by jw provides the transfer function for physical frequency w, that is, the transmission magnitude and phase for a sinusoidal input signal of freqency w"
i could some how understand it ambiguously, but cannot...
