Re: RF Switch
DC Block with capacitor (for example 1,8 GHz 10 pF),
RF Chook with λ/4 Microstrip Line depend on PCB (Laminate thickness, Line width and length) or with C-L-C configuration.
Re: ads question?
If you try to make DC and S-Param simulation you need a SPICE based model and dont forget DC Feed, DC Block before 50 Ohm Terminators.
When you use S-Param Model you can make only S-Param simulation.
(because S-Param Model is measured at fixed Bias Point)
Re: HELP ME!: how to design 1.57Ghz Microstrip antenna for G
I tryed to build like patch antenna,
but dimensions are big about 4-5 cm.
I get S11 about 10-15 dB.
But I dont checkit in function, because it was to big for my design.
Re: @ds spice problem
Thank you for answer.
I tryed to increase Imax in the SPICE model and get no warnings,
But the result of simulation are wrong. I get Ic = 130 mA.
Must be about 10 to 20 mA.
@ds spice problem
Dear all,
I tryed to import Spice Model BFP-520 from Ifineon to @ds.
When I simulate bias conditions, I get message: You may want to increase the explosion current in the device model.
But the explosion current (Imax) is not defined in BFP-520 spice model.
Somebody any idea...
Re: about impedance measure?
I use Softplot V5.0 (https://www.softplot.com) with ZVRE from R&S.
You can transfer unballanced data results direkt into the software and calculate ballanced impedances.
You can using S-Parameter simulation to get matching, gain and NF.
Good example is 1GHz_LNA_prj.
P1 db (I think) you can simulate with harmonic balance.
Re: How to measure/calculate mixedmode differential S-Parame
Yes thank you!
I found a appnote here

This article discribe how to simulate Mixed-Mode Parameter and calculate from single-ended measured Parameters.
differential s parameters in ads
Hello All,
have somebody ideas how to calculate Mixed Mode differential S-Parameters from Single Endet 4-Port S-Parameters?
Maybe with @ds and ideal baluns?
Thank you for hints!!!
