how about using a counter to measure the encoder output? then the high output freq is not a problem. most counter has a 20MHz+ time base. take an example NI 6602.
f3e modulation
Could I anybody explain F3E mofulation scheme for me?
If you guys could upload some material on F3E, I will appreciate very much. Thanks.
What's the meaning of the following specs? Thanks a lot. :)
What does "M+S: 30%" mean?
Residual modulation (what's this?)
FM component:
(AF 1 kHz, FM 75 kHz)
³ 90 dB (10.7 ± 1/76 to 108 MHz)
³ 80 dB (0.3 to 280 MHz)
(BW 50 Hz to 15 kHz)
(De-emphasis 50 µs)
AM component:
(AF 1 kHz, AM 30 %)
³...
I used radio testing, it may not be precise. But please look at the following terms. Can anybody recommend some reading for me to understand these terms? Thanks in advance.
M+S %
Pre-emphasis (us)
Pre-emphasis FRF
Station Selectivity
Alignment Station
CDSP Alignment
Thanks for reply. I do know my requirements, such as sampling rate, resolution, input range, bandwidth. My current concern is how to compare two cards with similar specs? put it another way, how to measure the actual characteristics of the DAQ cards? eg. how to measue dynamic range, temperature...
Anyone has experience in choosing or comparing DAQ PCB card? I need a methodological approach in comparing two analog data acquisition cards. Andybody can help me out? Thanks a lot.
