    the thin layer of copper in SRR for simulation by HFSS

    hello i want to redo a simulation of SRR in HFSS(please see the attach file) is the thin layer of copper dived into the dielectric or placed on it? when i placed it on the dielectric the results of simulation was different from that in the paper. please help thanks

    [SOLVED] the gap size in each rings of SRR

    Hi In any one ring in SRR, there is a gap that prevents current from flowing around that ring(see the image).but in the papers(pendry) the size of this gap is unknown why? i need this lenght to simulate SRR please help thanks
