Yeah .. you are right about SPICE that it's a verification tool, not the design tool. But generally, it's the only tool which is used for analog design.

Generally, for analog design we use SPICE engines to solve the equation. But when we are trying to solve the problem, we may have to go through many iterations. Is there any way to reduce these iterations? I mean kind of software or method?

Hi,
I installed Synopsys IC compiler on a Linux machine and have license.dat file as well. but I don't know how to set the license file for this software. And also, do I need to set any other Environment variables in order to run all the executables?
