    Timer calculation in any microcontroller.

Hi, Please let me know the basic timer value calculation in any microcontroler. Always i find difficult in timer calculation. For example you take for 1 msec , crystal is 8MHz. prescalar is 1:4

LM7912 regulator output is setting down to zero

I have reduced the input voltage to -28VDC. It is working fine now. But i have to test it for long time. Thank you for your kind help.

LM7912 regulator output is setting down to zero

Thank you for your reply. You are right the input voltage including spikes must not exceed 30V. Since it is proved project i did not check the specifications. The input voltage from the transformer is 28VAC and it is rectified and the voltage to the regulator becomes almost 42VDC. So may be i...

LM7912 regulator output is setting down to zero

Re: LM7912 regulator ouptut is setting down to zero I changed to 10UF/63V then also 7912 regulator output is getting zero.

LM7912 regulator output is setting down to zero

LM7912 regulator output is setting down to zero after the current is drawn by the load. Here I am attaching power supply circuit and DAC circuit. My project is the sensor from the field will give 8 to 48 mA output and which is read by the ADC. After it will be taken to the microcontroller and...

Regarding 2 wire RS485 to microcontroller RX pin.

Thank u for your kind response. Rx+ should be more positive in idle state means Rx+ should be pull down to ground right?

Regarding 2 wire RS485 to microcontroller RX pin.

Dear All, I have designed circuit to convert 2 wire RS485 to TTL (to microcontroller RX pin). Note: I am going to implement only Reception. So there is only one Max485 ic. Can you please let me know whether the microcontrller will receive the data? Please find the attachment.

    Regarding LM2941 voltage regulator

Sorry... The package is TO220 and the regulator will fixed to the heatsink. Can you please confirm that the heating up of regulator wont create any problem with circuit?

    Regarding LM2941 voltage regulator

Hi everyone, I need one clarification please help me out. I am using LM2941 regulator in my project. Vin is 24V and Vout is 5V. The application is just contains 4 seven segment LED display and corresponding driver IC's. There are 18F252 microcontroller and Max485 IC. I am afraid that whether...
