Use the 16F690, the '84 is a pre-historic chip! Also, you would only be able to connect to the phone if it has a RS-232 / USART somewhere on the connector, if you want USB be prepared for a PIC24F and lots of coding headaches

There you go gents, all you need to do is ti get a Nokia 6310i, then patch a new signal into the AF of the PA amplifier with the power set to full.

Best is to try yourself first, if your just going to use RGB LED's then i suggest the PIC16F690, its got a 8Mhz int osc and 18I/O pins, so more than enough to run a LCD and a few LED's

Hi, have a look at www.gsmhosting.com the forum there is crawling with phone schematics, IIRC most Nokia's still use Fbus for the comms, you just need to know where the connectors are
