I am interested with your project, I went through the code, can you tell me how you run the code in MicroC.. do you have to run it using the microBootloader in MicroC ?
Im sorry about it. But the problem is that, i am using a PIC16F877A micro-controller, so when i need, I would use a relay to switch to a circuit containing a 230V solenoid, so beause of this, i think a huge back emf will be generated , therefore i would like to know a solution to this..

I am using a relay which works with 230 v AC supply (its a 230V solenoid).. so with back-emf, what more can i add in order to protect the circuit??

thanks for your reply and yes, I wanted an interrupt to be generated upon a key press once the system is on sleep mode, furthermore we are targeting to save many no of passwords, (for eg. 1234) i.e. 4 digit characters passwords.. more like passcodes... so what is the best way to do this? and can...

hi , im doing a simple project using lcd and keypad with a PIC16F877A, i m planning to check password, so if there is wrong password, how can i make a alert sound ???.
( one of my friend suggested me to use a buzzer )
