How to setup a server on Linux?

OpenSSH should already be installed by default. Are you using the desktop Ubuntu (with GUI) or the command-line/server version? anyway, try this: sudo apt-get install openssh-server openssh-client

Who says that TUBES = RETRO?

I took my electronics classes back in 1990-1991 and we barely touched tubes. In hindsight that is one of my regrets. I had always wanted to learn circuit design using tubes.

    Via opening with copper shade

what is the diameter of these via holes? We've had problems with 0.6mm or larger via holes and tenting so the PCB vendor asked us to use 0.5mm (0.4mm is better). If you need higher current capacity then just use more of these smaller vias.

Rooting PCB tracks under surface mount inductor is OK?

normally you should not do this. But if you can consult with the circuit designer and you are absolutely sure that the voltages involved are within safe limits, then it can be a case-to-case basis.

How to setup a server on Linux?

I use ubuntu on all my servers. It depends on your preferences. I suggest getting all the versions you can get and install them one by one and learn how to use it. Nothing beats trying it out by yourself.

I am nearly get fired becoz of thermal relief

I would ask the circuit designer first if he really needs a thermal relief. But usually, the posts above are correct, SMD components seldom need thermal relief, unless it is dropped right in the middle of a plane.

    Pcb design following steps

I would suggest looking for a vocational/technical school that offer short courses on circuit and PCB design. Or you can look for people in your location who knows how to do layouts and ask him to teach you. It is quite hard to learn how to do it properly by yourself.
