Tried using that also...Thanks..But I wish to know what the Master-slave boundaries/ PEC-PMC boundaries which are refered in the manual or paper mean...their implications and conditions under which the simulations are being performed...Just to have a better idea..

While simulating the structure using HFSS, we use PEC-PMC boundary conditions along with wave ports. Could you suggest some links where i can read up on PEC-PMC boundary conditions and its implications?

used the same procedure as it was given in the example of mushroom ebg structure but without any success..For in one case,I have to please my unit cell in the middle of the airbox1 and not at the bottom...I am not quite able to modify the procedure for my structure..
I would like to know the procedure for calcultaing the eigen mode dispersion diagram in HFSS for a split-ring resonator structure which doesnt have a ground plane..Please help.
