Re: Buzzer Clarification
Thanks a lot pranam and nandu....
Both the solution looks feasible but I need to get the buzzing sound in head phones also... I need an amplifier/driver circuit for that in both above mentioned solution? any circuitry?
@Pranam
Yes I registered long back but couldnt...
Hi all.... Thnx all for keeping this forum so lively....I require a feedback from u all for my design to go ahead in my project. In my application
I use a DSP processor(OMAP) to do some signal processing algorithm.
If I encounter a critical condition I should turn on the alarm/buzzer...
DSP Embedded Hardware
Hi all...
I am embedded s/w engg but new to h/w
I am supposed to design a digital board for an hand held device.
1. It has a DSP with ADC's connected in I2C. I am planning to use Analog/TI processors.
2. In my application I have to store all the raw data in the memory...
If u hv a proper mpeg4 data then it should compile all standards of ITU find out ur mpeg4 packeting methodology and how it is done. There are indications about Intra Inter frames in frame headers. So catch the frame header first in Ur bit stream then Ur task is done...

Hi all....
I am developing my own video compression algorithm in openCV. In the starting level I hv incorporated most of the blocks used in MPEG-2 algorithm (only algorithm not header formats etc.,). I hv completed both encoder and decoder side and verified in the same PC. I like to compress the...
When u want to say it is real time capture from video camera I dont think matlab will be useful. With the help of openCV there is provision to connect camera(but another challenging process).Taking only ur algorithm part it can be implemented in both.
When u r migrating to a final target...
Warning system
Hi all,
I am new to Embedded hardware,
my application is based on DSP processor. After processing my signals I have to generate 2 different warning alarms for say 2 critical conditions. My doubt is should I require a
1. DAC and Speaker combination(Am I making it complex) or
