Hi friends
I download files from FTP server via SIM900 GSM/GPRS module successfully
But there is a problem, THE PROCESS IS TOO SLOW
This is because for every 1KB of data, the module and the server should handshake like this:
<-AT+FTPGET=2,1024
->+FTPGET:2,1024
and after that, transferring...
Try this:
TI
SIM900 R11.0

AT+SAPBR=3,1,"APN","mcinet" //instead of "mcinet", write your own APN's name
OK

Hi everybody
I wanna connect to FTP Server via SIM300 GPRS.
I am sure about my command sequence, but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't work!
Do you know what is the reason?
AT&F
OK
AT+CMEE=2
OK
AT+CIPMODE=1
OK
AT+CGATT=1
OK
AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","mtnirancell"
OK...
I found it!
after being connected to FTP server, there is no need to AT Commands such as "AT+CIPSEND"
Because now, you are connected to ftp server and just should type FTP commands (RFC 959), for example:
user xxx
instead of:
at+cipsend
user xxx
Finally I found it!
after being connected to the FTPServer, there is no need to AT commands, because now, module is connected to server and you just should type FTP commands without need for "AT+CIPSEND"

Hi friends
I wanna download a file with 4MB size from FTP server via GPRS (SIM300S) with AT commands
Is it possible at all??
If yes, HOW??
My processor is ARM11 (SAMSUNG S3C6410) with WinCE 6.0.
thanks
Tanx for your time
I almost gave up with AT commands
I switched to Plan B! (Dial-up GPRS with WinCE 6.0)
my processor is ARM11
but now I have another problem! Dialing-up just works with Hayes-Compatible on COM1
but my module is connected to COM2
how can I solve this problem?
Tanks alot!
Thanx for your attention dude
I read some docs and now know that my module (SIM300S) doesn't support AT# commands, So I can't use those commands
So, I tried to use just TCP/IP commands such as "AT+CIPMODE=1" but result is:
AT+CIPMODE?
+CIPMODE: 0
OK
AT+CIPMODE=1
ERROR
this means that I can...
here is one of docs I said, from SIMCOM
