I am designing a phase controlling circuit using an opto-triac (MOC302x) and a triac (BT137x) as shown below
An AC source 230V-50Hz is connected to the circuit through connector JP1.
The values in the snubber is given in the datasheet of MOC302x. However, I would like to calculate...
• R3 and C2 is snubber circuit for the opto-coupler meanwhile R4 and C1 is snubber circuit, protecting the TRIAC.
This is my calculation. Please correct me if I make mistake.
