I used the Master/Slaer B.C. and floquet port to model infinite array. I can get the active reflection coefficient of array element. But I have no idea about how to plot active element pattern? Could anyone give me some hints? 3ks!
1. Could you tell me which position of resistor is best?
2. And how to locate the 1/4 lamda of 70.7ohm transmission line? because there is a T-juction from input to two outputs. I have no idea how to choose the reference plane.
3. Need I compensate the bend and T-juction discontinuities? And how...
My design is a 1:1 Wilkinson Power divider. The input port is 50ohm. The two branchs is 70.7ohm. And the outputs are also 50ohm. The resistor is 100ohm.
The impendance are calculated by TXLINE.
Recently, I am trying to design a 1:1 Wilkinson power divider using stripline. And I have some questions about it:
1. How to compesate the discontinuity, such as t-junction, bend, step....Is there some experence about it ?
2. I can have low VSWR at input port at f0(center frequency), but I can...
Re: ANSOFT help
do you use Ansoft designer?
Pls read this tutorial about how to use designer
https://www.emtalk.com/designer_tut_1.htm
https://www.emtalk.com/designer_tut_2.htm
And as you said, you need to insert a planar EM design
Re: How to using master/slaver B.C. to model triangular arra
Yes, the waveguide only excite TE11 mode. Because the frequency is 299.79MHz.
And I use $R_angular (defined in project variable) in theta_scan (defined in local variable variable). And...
Re: How to using master/slaver B.C. to model triangular arra
Dear Ivan:
Thank you very much for giving me a lot of useful information. And I made a HFSS project to model this infnite array. But the simulation result is not well agreement with the example in the book. The author used a modal...
Re: How to using master/slaver B.C. to model triangular arra
Dear Ivan:
First, the radius is really 0.34lamda, because I see this example in other IEEE document. Actually, It is also hexagonal array, so could I make a hexagonal periodic cell?
Regards,
Jacky
Re: How to using master/slaver B.C. to model triangular arra
Dear Ivan
I have uploaded the related documents. And I have the whole book, although it is a scanned format. If you want to read it, I can share the book with you. Thank you very much for your attention about my questions...
Re: How to using master/slaver B.C. to model triangular arra
Dear Ivan
I did not draw a right cell as your instructions. Because I found that dv in the picture you gave is 0.62lamda, but the waveguide radius is 0.34lamda, I can not fill the waveguide in the periodic cell. I have no idea about...
hexagonal unit cell periodic hfss
Dear Ivan:
Thank you very much for your detailed reply. After reading, I have two questions as follows:
1. I did not understand how to determine the desired shift. Could you tell which book or article describes related theory?
2. Could I exchange...
hexagonal lattice matlab script
I want to use HFSS 11 to simulate periodic triangular array. I refered to the getting started with Foquet ports downloaded from this forum. It descrides a method to model rectangular lattice array. But I have not understood how to model an unit cell. I am...
