If series two capacitor, is the voltage double?

I do not think it's a good idea to place resistors in paralell. Aplying resistior in paralell to capacitor will degrade DC leackage and it's quality factor. Because of the circuit resistance decreace with increasing of number of the same resistors in paralell proportional to it's quantity. Also...

If series two capacitor, is the voltage double?

Breakdown voltage of two capacitor's series will be doubled, but capacitance will 0.5 of initial amount.

Power level on transmission of a signal at certain distance

I think you should use geometric abstraction level for radiating point in free space. All of your transmitted power (10 Wt) will be spreaded on the area of the sphere with R=1000 meters (S=4*pi*r^2). Receiving antenna will collect power density on it's effective area. So power density is...

[SOLVED] need help about hybire ring mixer

Hello, Orkfire. Let me see you your ADS model? Probably via pm (i don't know, there are supported attachments upload through the pm).

DC bias to a device, and measuring the S11 with a VNA... will this damage the VNA?

Hello, Please take a look into your VNA's spec or user guide. Generaly it contains dc blocking capacitor (my E5071C - up to 35V), but it will be better to check. Also you can use external DC Block, but you must recalibrate your VNA to remove added amp/phase uncertainty.

    Phase noise after comb generator

Dear Sinatra, Can you kindly provide us phase noise mask of your solution? :-) Better is not the best. HP produces eqipment for different applications, so it isn't a fact that generators you use were phase noise optimized. Best Regards, Izeek

[SOLVED] need help about hybire ring mixer

Hello Orkfire, Total ring lenght must be 1.5*lambda. Main idea is to provide LO phase difference 180 degrees between diodes. If assumed Z0=50 Ohm, suppose ring trace impedance must be 50*sqrt(2)=70.5 Ohm. Sector is a radial stub (base element in microwave technique for ac blocking). Have a look...

    Chip Footprint effect on Impedance

Hello azim.roslan, Chip footprint varies it's impedance by additional layout parasitics. Generaly it's appreciability grows up with frequency range. But if you have, for example, 50 Ohm chip interface, you can calculate necessary pad width and then correct it on the footprint. Second you can...

TI broadband IF transceiver ca[ability inquiry

Dear Rob, Possibility of realization of 1MHz RX/TX channels with 1MHz spacing would be determined by basebend filter bandwith and digital signal processing you use. This chipset is just a advanced IQ up/down converter for IF=140/350MHz (standart modem output for Professional Wireless Eqipment...

is it possible to change the vias position of a GPS antenna?

Right, rings are the beamforming elements. Hole size is negligible relative to GPS signal wavelength, so they didn't degrade antenna performance.
