I was born in Italy in 1982, received the 3-Year degree in Electrical Engineering in 2003 and the Master degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Calabria, Cosenza, IT, in 2007 and the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the University “Mediterranea” of Reggio Calabria, IT, in 2011. In 2007, l worked on my master thesis at the Antennas and Applied Electromagnetics Laboratory of the University of Birmingham, UK. In 2010, I spent the last part of my PhD at the Institute for Electronics Devices and Circuits of the University of Ulm, DE. Main fields of interest in those periods were: quasi-optical amplifiers, beam steering FSSs, efficient BFNs for antenna arrays. From Dec. 2010 until Nov. 2011 I was employed as researcher/post-doc at the Department of Microwave Techniques, University of Ulm, DE. From Dec. 2011 until Jul. 2013 I worked at the Institute of Microwave and Photonic Engineering, Graz University of Technology, Graz, AT. From July 2013 until January 2014 I worked as EMC Engineer for scientific satellites at Thales Alenia Space in Turin, IT. Since February 2014 I work at Elettronica S.p.A. in Rome, IT, as Antenna Engineer. Experience: microwave and mm-wave active and passive circuits, UWB and narrowband antennas, arrays and beamforming networks, quasi-optical power combiners, FSSs, filters, diplexers, duplexers, UWB MMIC amplifiers, measurement techniques of overmoded waveguides in Radar Level Measurement Systems, high-resolution near-field probes, signal processing; pulsed free-space measurements dielectrics; electromagnetic compatibility; teaching in the field of Microwaves and Electromagnetics.
