Hi Sharp,
Well, I to faced the similar problem sometime ago..and message will appear like
Increase the number of modes or reduce the upper limit of the frequency,
I tried both the way:
i) If u reduce the frequency limit, say 8 or 10 Ghz, u might get the simulation without error
ii) if u...
Well,
if u decide to be an academician in university, than PhD will be most welcomed.
Furthermore, u need to do research and publication work to climb the ladder.
But if u wanna be an engineer and works in firms or consultant than a MSc will do.
Not all employer are keen to have a PhD holder...
dear all,
i need your suggestion on how to design a power divider for an antenna array.
After calculating the dimension of the trans. line, it is smaller than the antenna configuration.
So, I cant draw it bcoz its so small. Can I extend the line so that it can be connected to all the antenna...
Dear all,
I need to design a 2 by 2 antenna array for unequal distribution.
I already calculated the dimension for the power divider.. I am using a T junction with quarter wave match.
Can some advice me how to do this in CST.MWS....
should I use brick method or object extrude technique...
thank you Aniruddha Xab
It is very helpful. Now, if i did as what u said, do i need to put ground plane?
partial, or slit ground?
I check the calculator and the parametrs are ok.....w= 16mm and length =12mm.
do u add any slot or steps in it?
Hello guys,
I need your help to give me some guide on patch antenna design.
I just design a rectangular patch antenna using the standard formula for 5.8 Ghz antenna. the feeding is microstrip line with 50 ohm matching.
But As I see the S11 plot it looks flat and doesn't seems to resonate...

dear ALL,
i need to design a microstrip patch antenna to be directive. My supervisor asked me to use binomial distribution for a element antenna.
the coefficients is found out to be 1-3-3-1.
Now my question is how to get this coeeficients to be implemented on the antenna array?
I want to...
dear ALL,
I just finished modelled an antenna using FR4 in CST MWS 2009.
Now, I would like to design the PCB layout....
The way to do it is to convert the file to gerber format.
However, my software is university license..thus I not sure how go about it?
Can anyone out there advise me how...
Directivity and gain
Dear ALL,
I need to know how to plot the gain in (dB) and directivity (2D plot) for an antennna using CST MWS 2009?
I am designing a patch antenna.
Can some tell me how to do it? which solver to use?
Thank you for your help.

S-parameters plots
dear all,
I had completed simulating a patch antenna in CST..
It has a ground slit. I modelled the patch and ground of the antenna using Extrude polygon method..the results for s- parameters seem ok.
But my problem is, i would like to plot the s11 for different ground slit...
Hello,
I would like to install the CST MW studio 2009 in my PC. I managed to install it.
But somehow, I cant open it bcoz the "Specify server" pop -up.
My questios are:
Shall i select local / remote?
By default it comes to A\lience.dat...then it stuck
Could some pls guide me with the...
I have the following questions:
1. Can we design a superdirective antenna for UWB application?
2. Is there any application for UWB that need superdirectivity?
3. I cant find much article in this field...(IEExPLORER)......Is this bcoz no researcher explore this area?
Thank you for your...
