build an avr programmer
Hi,
Thanks for that - I had a quick look at them but they seem to need another programmer already to program the AVR in it?
(which is the problem - I dont currently have one!)
Thanks
Ian
diy avr programmer
Hi,
I normally use PIC chips and dont really know anything about Atmel chips but I want to try a project with one.
Please could someone point me in the direction of the schematic for a reasonably easy to build programmer for Atmel chips (like the ATMega8515).
I'd prefer...
library eagle cadsoft db9 male
Hi,
I have 2 projects (schematic and board) in Eagle and I want to use them both as part of a new, single project.
How can I do that?
Thanks
Ian
how to icd2 connect to 18f2550
Ah, great.
When you say "old design", is there a new version of the PK2 Lite diagram around somewhere - I can only the find one above..?
Thanks
Ian

If blueroomelectronics is not bothered about it back, i'd love to have it!! :-)
Thanks...
I've since found the PK 2 Lite diagram posted by blueroomelectronics and i've been comparing that diagram with this one and there are some differences - are they functionally the same or is there differences there?
easy schema 18f4550
That's really useful - thanks for that.
I think I actually have all the components to build this except the BAT41 diode - is there any chance this be replaced with a 1N5817, 1N4001 or 1N4148?
Thanks
Ian
pic10f wont program
Hi psmll,
Are you able to say which components you used out of your bits box? - a parts list, schematic or even just a list of what you chance from what, to what on the blueroomelectronics design you link to.
Thanks
Ian
Interesting - i'm looking to build the easiest PICKit 2 possible and it looks like this might be it??
I assume "programmable VDD" is just to program PICs at voltages other than 5v?
What's the "VPP before VDD" bit?
Thanks
Ian
