analoglib mind coupling coefficient
Hi:
I am using cadence to build a model to simulate the bonding pad. In the model, mutual inductance between two inductors is one of the parasitic elements. Is there any device in Cadence that I can use to represent such mutual inductance...
Hi, all:
I am required to design an up-conversion mixer. frf is in the range of 1G--1.3G, flo= 1.45G, and fif
is in the range of 2.45G--2.75G. I am trying to use the most common gilbert structure. How can I filter out the low freqency component in the final if output? Is there any...
voltage gain and power gain
I know they are the same in a matching conditon. But why do we use power gain more often than voltage gain? Is it bacuse efficiency? since "maximum power transfer=highest efficiency"
voltage gain power gain
Hi all:
I am confused about the power gain and voltage gain used in the RF design, especially when designing LNA and mixer. Which one should draw more concern?
Can anyone help me out? Thanks a lot!
buffer design
Hi, all:
I am required to design a differnential in-out buffer following the mixer stage in a 2.4GHz receiver. Both the input and output matching are required and it must shows a good linearity. Which structure should I use? Can I use the source follower directly or...
receiver buffer design
thanks man, noiseless!
Actually I am wondering whether the input matching andt output matching are so important to the buffer.
Can anyone kindly suggest some papers on buffer design?
receiver buffer design
Hi, all:
I need to design a buffer used in a 2.4GHz receiver. This buffer will be placed after the mixer and both input and output matching are required. Can someone suggest some structures or paper that I can refer to? Thanks a lot!
HI, eveyone:
I am just a beginner in the IC design field. Now I am trying the Cadence MonteCarlo simulation examples (the Low pass filter in the library aExample). I followed the manual tightly but can not get the results. I set the "run" from 1 to 100. However the circuit only can be...
