Re: Bandpass Filter
I just looked at the insertion loss plot of the helical filter you suggested me. That helical filter doesn't give me the rejection I need unfortunatelly.
Re: Bandpass Filter
Do you know any off-the-shelf dielectric filters which work around 400MHz? How I will choose these resonators to build a filter meeting these specifications?
Thanks rogerynt
Re: Bandpass Filter
I think achieving both reject band and insertion loss at the passband is difficult in lowpass+ highpass filter arrangement. Size, as you said, will be big too.
Hi,
I would like to design a bandpass filter. Center frequency is 400MHz and bandwidth is 40MHz. Insertion loss will not be greater than 1dB. Rejection will be 50dB in the rejection band, 0-360MHz and 465-1000MHz. What is the best suitable filter type (LC, Combline, Interdigital....) I can...
LoadPull
I will use FLC167WF. Can't we use the s-parameters given in the datasheet for matching. If we can't what is the purpose of publishing these parameters?
If I can't use these parameters how can I use the loadpull technique for output matching?
I know CST and HFSS. HFSS doesn't have a good drawing tool. I used to draw my models in autocad and put in HFSS. CST however has a very good interface. I like this feature. you have the control of your model. you can parameterize, you can go back to history etc. It really makes my job easier...
Can I use lumped elements on this new CST version using frequency solver? In the previous version, CST doesn't allow me to put lumped components in the computation area (Fast Resonance S parameter).
What I do to simulate large structures is that I first use smaller meshes for faster simulations to have a rough idea. After that I simulate with more meshes to have accurate result. From my experience, the finer the mesh, the more accurate the result. There is slight differences between...
how to create a signal in cst
Most of the time, if I see that kind of warning during the simulation, first I check the units. If units are OK, then check if your design has any features that CST graphic tool doesn't understand. This happens most of the time, if you importing your model from...
Do you guys have any application note explaining how to measure permittivity of materials using coaxial transmission line (air line) method. As far as I know, it will be enough to have a coaxial airline and network analyzer to figure out the dielectric constant. Any application note will be very...
