reference side band cadence
when simulating mixer's noise figure with pss and pnoise, what dose the parameter "Reference side-band, enter in field" stand for?
in the cadence help document, it is written "The Reference Sideband must be -1 because this is a down converter. Other possible choices...
when design LNA, it is said to size the transistors to match the optimal source impedance to get lowest NF. But I don't know which simulation can get the noise impedance of the LNA? In most cases, it is not the same with input inpedance.
i use cadence ic50, spectre and spectreRF. does anyone...
cadence load state problem
recently i install ic50 on Fedora core 4 linux, with the " export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1 ". and it seemed well and did simulation well.
But when i want to save the simulation states in the Dialog--Analog Design Environment, it has a problem.
i save a state named...
I saw some papers mentioned the design of Gilbert Mixer. As the attachment, they use a parallel LC Tank below the degeneration inductors.
Paper[1] said, "a parallel LC resonator, tuned on the second RF harmonic, as an ac current source in the emitter of the input transistor pair"
Paper2] said...
I use bash, because it "In addition to its Bourne shell compatibility, it includes the best features of the C and Korn shells as well as several advantages of its own."
Re: How can i get access to a SUN workstation under Fedora C
you can use ssh or telnet to access sun workstation.
if you want run some X program, be sure change the settings of FC3 that allow TCP connecting in the property of the display item of the menu.
then you can use xhost and export...
en , maybe you can try a program named archmage
