I just have a simple question, I am trying to find out what basis functions are used by CST's I-solver. Are they first order, or higher order, are they sinusoidal or rooftop, etc.. If anyone has any knowledge about the MoM (MLFMM) basis functions, please respond. Thanks.

I try to install the SP7 for CST and it keeps saying:

I am wondering why when I run the I-solver, it meshes the entire surface (i am using reflectarray w/ only 4 PEC patches right now) instead of only meshing the patch surfaces? The patch surface current is the only parameter of interest and should be the only unknown so i am wondering why...
