planar transformer pcb design
Make a hole in the PCB, place primary and secondary on the opposite side of PCB and "around"
the hole (the hole now, is on the center of both windings), insert a bar core in the hole, the core diameter is to fit the hole, and the length is about 2~3X of PCB...
What is impedence matching:
Use a device, such as transformer or emmiter follower circuit to match output impeadance of the former circuit to input impeadance of next circuit.
Why do it :
According to AC theorem, when the impeadances is matched, the max. power from former circuit will transfer...
Load,
The Farady's law is used to calculate AC-line transformer:
B=E*10^8/(4.44*Ac*F*N)
B is operating flux density, depends the core material, you may arbitary choose the value, for example, 0.8*Bmax of core is a good start for high power ones, and 1.2*Bmax of core is used for small power...
Cross talk problem
1. Make a magnetic shield cover, material M6 lamination sheet, to cover each transformer, if it does reduce the cross talk, then you will find which transformer makes trouble.
2. When you located the trouble transformer, you may oriented the transformers, so that the magnetic...
Hi!
What is the working frequency?
If the transformer is a power line transformer, you will need lamination core but not ferrite core.
Sendust(Kool-mu) and highflux cores may be used on power line frequency but they are much more expense compare to lamination core.
