well looking at the heading i thought maybe we all were going to talk about actual implementation of such a system.
some ideas, some technical specs, some details of already existing systems .....basically facts to deal and read .. !!!!

Bottomline ..... SuSe is the best for IC5.
RH can't come anyway near it in stability ...
I have used both SuSe and Redhat for 3 years for various EDA purposes and RH has always sucked one way or the other.
Use IC5 on SuSe only. Period.

If it is a pre-programmed path then it will be a bit easy for u to make it work.
If the path is supposed provided on a board ...as u say ... and is white in color ...then the *brainibot* cud be programmed to identify that path with tilting the LDR a little bit in the...
