I'm doing this project using dsPic33. Can the admin move this thread to Microcontroller section where hopefully i can get this answered? Or can i just repost in Microcontroller section?
Hi guys. I have a question for you. I'm doing a little motor driver project. I have a 3phase 6pole harddrive motor with a center tap. I need to figure out the speed of the motor from the zero crossing. Take a look at the waveform of the center tap attached. Could someone please explain to me...
Problem solved. Timer triggering ADC1 was too long. Such a simple solution, go figure. DMA bufferA & bufferB still do not save the data for some odd reason.
Hello friends. I have a question for you all. I'm working on a little project where i need to keep track of 4 analog inputs. I'm using dsPic33fj to simultaneously sample these 4 inputs. See the image bellow for illustration of what i want to do. My question is: can i manually save each...
Rising Edge Trigger
Thank you guys for all the help and the circuits, really helpful.
I tested the circuit i attached earlier, the RC integration. I put a diode instead of the logic buffer and it worked.
Re: Rising Edge Trigger
I've tried that but what i did was wrong and didn't work. Is the attached circuit something similar to what you're thinking of?
I think the attached circuit might actually work, although the caps will be leaking some current correct?
I have a stupid question, the...
Rising Edge Trigger
I want to send a short pulse of about 1.5V or higher to an H-bridge to drive a solenoid. The pulse would be sent as a result of a rising edge of my signal.
Re: Rising Edge Trigger
I'm using the LMC555CN timer and the 2n2222 and im still having some difficulty. I'm using the dual power supplies to test the circuit, so the rising edge is as fast as i can turn the voltage knob.
I looked at the picture you provided, in the output you send a pulse...
Can i buy a vowel?? :)
I don't know, the input signal will have some noise ?!?!
Added after 8 minutes:
Thanks guru.
So you say if i use Vcc 6.5v with the setup of the first attached circuit, it will work??
I've tried that and it still doesn't work.
Added after 7 minutes...
Yet again i have a problem. :)
I need to trigger a pulse from a rising edge of a input signal. My input will go from 0 to about 2v. When the input changes from 0v to 2v i want to send a pulse of 1.3v or greater. The input will not go to 0 for longer then the impulse.
I've been playing around...
Thanks guys.
First i'm trying to increase my voltage in my battery powered circuit(2.4v) to about 6v. Second, i have low voltage signal in the design which i compare and output accordingly, 800mv to 900mv. I want to make that 100mv difference bigger so i'll see the change easier, maybe to 2.4v...
Op amp
I've been out of school for some time now and forgot some of the basics. I'm using an op amp from a 2.7v battery powered application. I have a signal with low voltage ~850mV which i want to amplify 3 fold. I am using the older dual op amp ic.
i feed the input to the + terminal of op...
I don't have a high voltage power supply. It's battery powered with 2.4 or 3.6v, not 100% sure yet.
I've played with the solenoid today and found out that the voltage needed is actually much less then the rating. To activate it in and out i need around +/-10v.
I guess my real question here is...
