What are those PIns for SMT connection ?

Hi FvM and thx Yes, it is, or sometimes Brass based as i have just read on the web. i wonder if there is a supplier for those connectors. I mean some way to get already Tapes and Reels of those with some way to use them in automatic placement process. it is one of the few way to connect pcb on...

What are those PIns for SMT connection ?

Hi all, I have seen recently some connectors used in DOSA POL converter. (from Murata, TDK lambda and others) DOes anyone know who supplies those connectors ?

    frame before lamination

Hello everyone, I was wondering if it was possible to put frames in the top layers of a multilayer pcb before lamination process. (The idea is to get cavities in a pcb to burry components.) I have seen some "lasercavity" process from pcb suppliers. But why not framing layers before lamination ?

    Biasing MOSFET for switching purpose

Thanks ZekeR, I will test that some time with MOS from a single Reel, using 1 MOS for creating the DC bias.

    fast level Shift 5V to 40V ?

Hi, and thanks for the answer. The load will be small BJT or MOS gate. Let say <10pF. I already found some IC solutions: - "light" low side gate driver, but it hardly reach more than 20V, - Same with some CMOS comparator. - Low and High side gate driver, any voltage but a bit slower. - the old...

    Biasing MOSFET for switching purpose

Hi all, I am planning to Bias a complementary source follower MOS output stage for Switching purpose. The idea is to bias them just under Vgs threshold (from 10uA to 100uA.) so as to reduce "wriggling" during switchings. In DataSheets one can find large Vgsth values like from 0.5 to 1V for a...
