when u bias any active circuit at i/p and o/p of the device u place DC block caps! These caps allow AC to pass thru and maintain DC within the active block.
Bypass capacitor is used for AC noise bypassing mainly at the DC supply output terminals to prevent noise from supply to enter the bias...
how do we establish the xact value of noise floor in a certain area ( using spectrum analyser) & wat margin 2 keep from noise floor (dbm) for designin a front end TX module ??
i am goin to design a 2.4Ghz tx-rx front end module!! so i require as 2 wat value of noise floor(dbm) to consider in...
i designed a microstrip patch antenna for 2.4G . now,
1) how do i calculate it's power handling capacity (i know it's like an capacitor with plates of unequal areas)
2) wat would be the range of such an antenna if the same antenna is kept as tx & RX on top of say buildings with LOS data...
A similar kinda planar monopole antenna has been designed & tested in IEEE microwave & RF journal. check previous 2 issues. for various ground plane dimensions the change in characteristics is also discussed in the article.
