so, that means 2.45ghz reader only read data from 2.45ghz tag? but if the reader have two antenna or dual band freq antenna, then it can detect more than one frequency tag?
hello, i'm a bit confuse with this things. does the rfid reader can detect any frequency of tag? for example, if the reader frequency is 2.45ghz, can it detect the tag with 125 khz? tq
actually, i know how to read. the friss formula have the Pt, Gt, Pr right? The Pt and Gt is from the reader. but my project is about transponder. So, i dont know the value of Pt and Gt. Hope u can understand since my english a lil bit weak.
Hi.
I have problem to prove the read range distance of my rfid is increase if i increase the gain. here, i use friss equation to prove if the gain is increased, the read range also increase. i dont know whether i should assume the Pt of reader or not. i think i should check with the rfid reader...
actually i have found this antenna. but i dont really understand bout this antenna. it said it use GA. and it is yagi antenna. what is GA? i try to read about it but cant understand detail bout it.
does any one here have any design of antenna that have high gain, which is more than 2dB? i need it for my fyp. i've done lot of design but apparently it didnt give high gain. and if it high gain, it doesnt detect for 2.45ghz. maybe anyone here can help me. tq
tq for the replies. even me also not sure whether the design can give higher gain or not. but i will try to design it first and go through with the result. my lect ask me to do this kind of design. maybe he wants me to see or learn something.
actually i got this pattern of antenna from my lecturer. he said this one can improve the gain and he ask me to get the dimension of the design. So, i thought there must be any formula to calculate the dimension like the width or length. and how much should i fold the antenna element back and forth.
hi. im doing microstrip patch antenna and i choose to use the feedline feeding method. hope someone can answer my question;
1. what is the difference between inset feedline and quarter wave feedline?
2. how to calculate the width and length of the feedline?
tq
hi. currently im doing my fyp. and my title is to improve the read distance between the rfid tag and reader. so, i decide to improve the antenna by using the microstrip antenna for passive tag. but, im a beginner in this field and im not sure where should i start. i believe that i should do some...
