first of all you should have knowledge of how to interface lcd, rtc to pic. rtc communicate via i2c protocol. lcd has special commands to interface.
Programming is done on Mplab ide or any other compiler.

initially try simple interfacing of lcd, rtc etc...
right click on pic16f877a part click on edit prop.-> hidden pins. check which names are given for pic vdd and pin vss.
Now insert power part from terminals mode (on left panel 8th from top) name power part as vdd by right click -> edit prop.-> string field, and like this insert ground and name...
