biasing analog IC
Normally, the bias voltages are selected through simulation. Currently, no one will calculate them by hand unless you want to verify the accuracy of the simulation software.
Seems too complex. Just let the controller read the sensors' status (including door position and people detection) using the external interrupts. followed process to actuate the motor. It is a Finite state machine.
synopsys power mill
powermill now is integrated in to nanosim. So it got a new name of "nanosim". In one sentence, nanosim supports the simulation of circuit described from RTL to transistor level (such as in verilog and spice), and is much faster than HSpice.
Trouble with ke*il programming
Why not use the timer for delay? I recommend my solution in actual project. I use a timer to compute the delay. set the controller to power saving mode. if the timer decrease to 0, trigger the timer interrupt serving code, which is a return. and return to the next...
HSpice is more popular in industry because of its more transistor models support. Some devices are not supported in pspice. I don't think they (hspice and pspice) have the same core. In algorithm convergency, hspice still have some problem. Nassda Hsim is better in this aspect. I simulated some...
