I have filter in which I must use switch diode for desired band pass. So, in original schematic is used BA423 (AM band switch diode), in the other hand I can buy BA243 (Diode switch). Working frequency of switch circuit is 10,7MHz. I was noticed that BA243 have 50....1000MHz frequency range...
I have problem with this mixer on picture. Is it normal that after BF981 IF amplitude is lower then input signal in mixer (70MHz)? Would not this kind of mixer have some small gain? For XTAL I use 20MHz crystal instead of 60MHz (because I can't find 60MHz crstal) , I have oscilation of 60 MHz on...

Does anyone know for good electronic circuit simulation software, something like Electronic workbench? I have EWB9, but I'm not so happy with it because circuit in it's simulation don't work even close like same circuit in practice.
