Hey thanks a lot, I can do this in 2D fairly proficiently now, but I honestly need this for a 3D rectangle/box. I tried making a 3D object using the line function, but it would not connect the surfaces and subtract properly. Any suggestions?

mitre hfss
I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how I can add mitres to my transmission lines in HFSS. Preferrably I'd like it for 3D rectangles, although I can live with the 2D. I tried just making one from the polygon function, but it doesn't seem to work. Any help/insight would be...
hfss coupler
Hey, I'm wondering if anyone can give me some hints, tips, or pointers on simulating a directional coupler (3dB Quadrature Hybrid). We've run simulations in other programs (MWO) with good values, but more indepth solutions are required and I'm not very familiar with HFSS.
mongia
Pozar is pretty thorough, and covers all the basics. I'm doing research with couplers with Northrop Grumman, and the people with whom I'm working, highly regarded and recommended it.
Does anyone know how I would prove and solve for the 4x4 s-parameter matrix using even and odd mode decomposition. Assume length is a quarter of a wavelength.
And how where can i find the derivations for a multi-section branchline coupler.
Thanks.
