Re: what is the purpose of "simmx.m" M-file in dynamic time warping, in matlab?
Rob guided me in this regard. i am really thankful to him.
here is the explanation by "Rob".

Re: mfcc speech recognition matlab
can u kindly explain me whats the local distance which is calculated between corresponding elements of two sequences.
i mean this is the distance relative to which axis?
moreover, can u tell me whats the pupose of "simmx.m" M-file in dynamic time warping?
actually i wish to ask that "your system will allow only one user or it will work on some specific password , no matter who the user is?
i can send you dynamic time warping related documentss to you"
at what address i can send.
moreover mathworks.com should help you.
go and check m-file dpfast.m...
hello dear,
i have done some software work related to your project.
you should study dynamic time warping technique in detail.
moreover, tell me that u want ur system to be "user dependent" or "user independent"
Regards
dear hansmuller,
thanks for the quick reply.
ya, idea of threshold is really good and i have been thinking about this since last 2,3 days.
problem is that if for example there are 5 words in the database, should we have separate threshold for each and every word.
or we should have one single...
ya , i ve also applied same dynamic time warping technique.
i can record some password in database.
then my system takes input speech signal through microphone, and compares it with all saved templates, and returns the one with minumum global distance.
problem arises once we speak the word which...
hello dear,
m also doing speech recognition project..
m using spectrogram and dynamic time warping for speech recognition.
what technique are u using.
we can have some exchange of useful info regarding our projects.
