hysteresis of comparator
I think it's depend on the working environment of the Hysteresis comparator. If you use it to aviod mistrigge under high frequecy noise condition, the hysteresis result measured in a short time transient is avaliable, but if you want to use the DC spec of this...
how about the temperature coefficient of the resistor? Maybe you could only attain an accurate resistance under typcial temperator if it vary a lot with temperature.
I think the two options are same, LDO is the voltage regulator, why we call it LDO is because it can work under very low drop out conditions, then the heat and wasted power on LDO can be reduced. If we use it with high drop out voltage, it also work well, also it can be called voltage regulator.
questions to ask ldo
may be IGND is the current limit value when output of LDO is short to ground? the droped voltage is consumed by LDO it self, so for a LDO
(Vin-Vout)/Vin of power is wasted, that's why we try to make VDropout as small as possible.
Current Mirrors
It seems not nessencary to use resistor in a normal current mirror. Are you asking about how to generate a current bias with some transistors and only one resistor?
