Micro stepping
if you have a 6 wire motor, it could be either a 3phase 2 wires per phase or a 5 phase 1 wire per phase + common, If it is a 5 phase then you can get a stepping resolution of around 125,000 positions per revolution.
This is archived because all multi phase "brushless" motors...
Hi,
If you should need a commercial review with a larger coverage of key indicators such as ease of development and support then BentleyRC can be contracted and I can put one of our engineers to work for you. But as ever the forums are free :D
I hope your evaluation and recommendations go well...
CCS C and High-Tech C are in my opinion the best, but you will pay for them, both have student versions with limitations. I use both each have strengths and weaknesses. Both companies realise this and you can now produce Object file for inclusion in the other, a bit like DLL/lib files.
If your doing protocol and device Control use a PIC/Atmel, if you need the power the 212GP has then you should be going for the ARM9 anyway. In no technical requirement document would I ever place a 212GP. The device is very powerful in its own right but if you need high speed device control...
Lo,
Got 2 ICD2's here both working apart from one has MCLR Gnd High on self check, I've been looking at voltages on pins and all sorts, can't seem to find a problem.
How is MCLR Gnd calculated by the 877A? does it have its own pin A4 for example, or is it the difference between two levels on a...
if you look on sourceforge you can see many projects such as serdisplib and others, they contain a wealth of information regarding LCD displays, also there is this

In England at least there is a roaming agreement, it works something like this, assume there are 3 operators ( more in reality but this example we'll say 3)
Company A builds a transmitter tower , so do company's B and C, if A charges B and C for access then company A will also be charged by...
The ARM9 range has a much wider group of enthusiasts and engineers, the fact you can run linux on it says alot, you now have an industry standard operating system to run your application on, Windows Mobile runs on them too, forget about chip specific programmers with the ARM9 you can almost...
:d but suppose someone came up with a way to do it for free? and had the backing of a cellular operator? I will agree that all current systems require a fee, but that will change, at least for the market this product is aimed at.
I think SMS messaging taps into that same primal feeling you get...
tensilica 212gp linux
ARM9 hands down, you can even get a linux distro to run on it then you can widen your available pool of techs able to code for it.
Our DaemonTx project is currently undergoing Thatchem approval, that's the UK's insurance group test people. We are in talks with a large motor parts provider to offer 3rd party approved GPS tracking solutions for cars.
Costs for use? £0.00 free for life, If you go about it the right way...
Free CPU List
It not ment as a profit making venture, any losses will be offset against tax and it is intended to allow the multitude of developers out there to have a go.
And in respect of my potential payback, all it takes is one design that makes it, loosing parts to people who take and run...
Everything my company does is based on GPS and GSM being linked, though I don't use mobile phones but rather an in house designed GSM module with our own IP stack so the unit can send data over the internet to servers, using this method and if you have a nice cell phone company backer :) you can...
