icd-s40 eprom
Hi pama and everyone.
So its me, again. To my disappointment, i'm facing a few problems again.
the icd that i'm building has a VPP which are high, about 12V. i've tried checking the transistors and they always on despite the actual switching signal in RC1 and 5.
I've tried adding...
icd-u40
hi pama,
glad that u replied. actually i did test with an external supply. pumped in an external 13V and 5V. manage to read, verify and erase a PIC18F4680. but din try to program it. my conclusion is that it should work fine. I've already redesigned to the normal IC regulator. but...
icd.u40
Hi Pama,
sadly to say changing those values didn't help my case. i even converted the circuit using an external transistor to boost the output current but its stil a no go. suspect its the type of inductor that i'm using. means now i have to reconstruct the circuit. sigh. thanks for...
icd-u40 programs to fast
H pama,
Thanks for the reply. I think i'll change the DC converter cap n R values. R19 to 0.16 and C11 to 1n8 @ 2n2. Not sure whether it'll work this time. But this will help to increase the overall current n turn on time. Will infrom after the mod.
icd-u40 driver download
Hi everyone.
i've just completed my version of ICD-S40. sadly, i couldn't get it to read or detect the target. i've successfully reloaded the it's firmware but i still can't seem to get it to read the target. Is there anyone who can help me out with this. Hope to hear...
Re: Problems with WARP13
Im not sure what you actually wants. But i hope this would help.

First, what kind of error are you facing. Be specific. No connection can be caused by many things. Try checking the continuity of the cables. Good Luck.
This is because u did not manage to properly install the icd2 driver in your computer. Jz follow the instruction in mplab on how to uninstall and reinstall the driver. U MAY even need to repeat the uninstall n reinstalling process plenty of times. i know i did. u may even try switching diff...
hi melc,
thanks for the reply. but what is that u find a "little better" than the 4066? Itz the voltage range? CD4053 seems to be a nice option but i have plenty of 4066 and 7400 ~ 7406 at home wit me now. im interested to put them into use :)
any opinions?
hi there,
Ok, i have a ques here, but i've post similar question elsewhere and i am yet to get any reply. actually, im bored searching for DG411.
Is it possible to use the combination of 7406 or 7400(Nand terminal shorted) with a 4066 to replace the place of a DG411? coz DG411 is a NC switch...
hi there everyone. ok, i have a ques here, im sick of looking for DG411. Is it possible to use the combination of 7406 and 4066 to replace the place of 411? coz 411 is a NC switch, 4066 is a NO switch. so i plan to use 7406 (inverter) or any other inverting ic to convert 4066 to work as NC. I...

Re: newbie to pic
84A is no longer in production. one of the most commenly used nowadays is PIC16F628a to subs 84a. if not mistaken, F88 another version which fancied.
if u wanna use asm, u can start with MPLAB. and if u want to start with C, then u can try MikroC from mikroelektronika. u can...
for serial, u need to go to device manager, under ports, choose which COM u using, then click on tab "port setting". set bits per second to the one u would be setting in mplab. then choose advanced. then disable use fifo buffer. then ok all the way.. i think u'll need to restart pc too.
