Hi Dear.
The first error indicates that there is a problem in port defining, which can include the following issues: overlapping with other materials, unite or subtract the port conductor, boundary definition.
The second error shows a problem in terms of analysis and memory, that is, because the...
In HFSS, you can see the passive and active S/Z-parameters. In a multi-port devices, when you ask for Z-parameters, e.g. Z11, HFSS will only enable port 1 and assume all other ports are matched. Thus you'll only see the passive Z-parameters. While for active Z-parameters, HFSS will give you the...
Re: help regarding siw in cst and hfss
Hi Dear.
you can followed these steps in HFSS to create a SIW structures.
1- draw a box for substrate
2- draw patch & ground plane(top and bottom of sub respectively)
3- draw cylinders around the patch for creating the SIW.
4- select top faces of all...
Hi.
I checked your design.
at first this warning appears:
[warning] Warning - Boundary 'Rad1' and Boundary 'PerfE1' overlap.
but no problem, with modify dimensions of air box this warning will be removed.
you have 2 resonant freq with acceptable shift and you should know that FR4 can not...
Hi.
what kind of antenna that you want to design?(flat or conformal)-(patch or other antennas)
what are the freq band?
please give me more information about your design.
thanks
Hi all friends.
I design WR90 excited with coax.but my resonance frequencies are not matched with theoretical freq.
what is the problem?
can you help me?
Thanks.

and your substrate is located in center of radiation box.
Hi.
you should be choosen the size of air box,lambda/4 larger than substrate or your design.
your design should be completely inside of air box.
Good Luck.
