    Aaronia Spectrum Analyser Principle

thak you for all your valuable answers. Actually ı intend to use it for pre-complience measurments EN 55011 and my company had already bought it. So I will try my best to have correct measurments with it. Thanks again.

    Aaronia Spectrum Analyser Principle

Hello dear members; I would be very appreciated if someone answer my question below, which is probably is easy for experienced users. I have an Aaronia HF Spectran spectrum analyser and it is not a real time spect.analyser. **broken link removed** am I understand right about the principle of...

Characteristic Impedance vs Input Impedance of a patch

As you will see, ı will calculate the lambda/4 feed line impedance with this generale formula; Zline=sqrt(Zpatch*50) So for Zpatch, it is written that characteristic impedance of the patch. Not the input impedance. I mixed up here. I can directly put a port and voltage source at the edge of the...

Characteristic Impedance vs Input Impedance of a patch

Laides and Gentelmen of edaboard; What is the dşfference of Characteristic Impedance and Input Impedance of a patch. I am designing a patch antenna, and to design its feeding geometry ı need to model a lambda/4 feed line between the patch and 50 ohm line. So while I calculating the lambda/4...

    FDTD convergence, FEKO

Hello dear guys and dear ladies; I am getting convergence error whil using FDTD method in FEKO. When I searched in the internet I reached very theoratical explanations and I am not numerical mathematic expert, just using FEKO. Can you explain me what is convergence in FDTD method ? Why may I be...

    Characteristic Mode Analyses, FEKO

thank you nano_o Actually ı have tried this, yes you are right, for example when you put an antenna on the edges of the patch, it looks that i am getting better results but, each modes have different radiation pattern and have a different relationship with the other modes and this situation...

    Characteristic Mode Analyses, FEKO

Thank you for reply; Actually it was my fault that ı couldnt explain well enough the problem. Feko is calculating characteristic modes (eigenmode and characteristic angle) and also possible current modes of the patch and the directions also. Please see the pictures below. And by looking at...

    Characteristic Mode Analyses, FEKO

Hello guys and ladies, How you define the best position of feeder in a rectangular patch antenna by using characteristic mode analyses. I am using FEKO and can calculate characteristic modes of the patch but ı couldnt evaluate them and find a way to use my results. Can you give me some simple...

    chip resistor simulation

Bu t if you add a transmisson line between this faces, seperate them and add transmisson line with specific definition, ı dont know if this solve your problem but there is an option like this also.

    chip resistor simulation

You can choose edge port option to add a port between two or more faces. And then add load option. I have attached the the file with edge ports and loads with 50 ohm.

    chip resistor simulation

can you send a picture of the model ,or the model file? there is many kind of port options in FEKO. I think you should choose the right one.
