I think that output of "Stereo Formation" block is connected to the chain: DAC -> LPF -> amplifier -> headphone.
As a rule, amplifier have capacitor on input to filter DC. So, why is it important to filter DC by DSP?
The output power level is insufficient for what? :)

There is "Scale Remove DC" block in the FMReceiver block diagram (attached).
Why do we need to filter DC and why do we need to scale the signal samples?
What happens if we do not filter DC?
