[SOLVED] vdd of TSMC 0.18um technology

Thanks, hr_rezaee! I know there is 3.3V devices. But in order to use MOS-CAPACITOR for storage cap(huge cap!), I have to understand the 1.8V devices completely. So I guess my question is: can the 1.8V devices function under vdd~3.0 V?

[SOLVED] vdd of TSMC 0.18um technology

I want to know the maximum voltage that vdd can go in this process. I know the nominal value is 1.8V, however, my circuit is to be designed for wide-range supply(1.8V~3.0V). So i am eager to know the break-down voltage of MOSFET's. Is there any document that could be useful?? Thanks!

how to remove this error "no stamped connections"

no stamped connections I am layout a POLY resistor in the tsmc 0.18 um proc. The DRC gives me no error, but when I extracted, this error "no stamped connections" persists. I googled for it, without much info. But I just know that it is caused by the lackk of connectino with the substrate. But...

how to make a RF clamp circuit?

what make clamping circuit I am working on a RFID front-end. The very first component is the clamp circuit that limits the RF input to a modest range. However, this simple clamp circuit (see figure) wouldn't work. The reason is that if the input signal is a 50% modulated ASK signal, at high...

how to calculate the phase noise of a oscillator?

I am running simulations with a LC oscillator and trying to see the output phase noise due to a given noise source. Here is how I have been doing: 1. run the transient simulation for a while 2. compute the spetrum of the output signal using FFT, and plot it in dB 3. read the power density...

question about BJT simulation in Cadence

I try migrating to BJT by reading the textbook by Gray & Meyer. Simulations should be the best way to get an insight into the methodologies. But I need advice on the starting point, say, on how to run simulations in Cadence. I don't know what Vcc I should choose for the supply, how to size the...

How to print simulation data to .txt file in Spectre?

print to file spectre simulation Hi: I wonder if there is a fast way to save a transient simulation into a *.txt file in Cadence Spectre? I tried OcePrint(), but it is way too slow. I need to export a huge amount of data into Matlab and do the analysis. I cannot afford to wait hours for...
