ic610 stream
It seems Cadence IC610 can't open the layout files of previous versions (i.e. IC5141).
The new extension of layout files is .oa but the old one was .cdb .
I can only open the previous version layouts through importing their stream files that I extracted before.
Is it another way to...
DRACULA in GUI mode
I thought there is no need to run dracula through command line, but there is. GUI mode refers only to Dracula Interactive. Then nothing is changed in IC610.
The problem is solved automatically!
Cadence ic610 comes with dracula in GUI mode.
I can only use dracula by typing "PDRACULA" in command line.
But how can I use dracula in GUI mode?
Thanks.
how to simulate bidirectional pins
How can I simulate a bidirectional (BIDIR) bus in waveform editor( for example data[15..0] )?
I insert two group nodes, one with I/O type Input (e.g data[15..0]) and other with I/O type Output ( same as preveius). But after simulation the two group nodes...
I think it's better to use another software that can do same thing for you such Orcad 9.1 . Ofcourse Orcad will instal PSpice with itself. But if you want to simulate moderate circuits it's better to use Circuit Maker 2000.I suggest DXP 2004 For experts.
You can use any gate you want, but if you are going to implement you IC (sythesis) its better to use NOR and NAND gates. They are better for BJT and CMOS implementation.
