Hey keith,
Thanks for reply,
Yea, I meant collector and emitter just a blunder....!
I tested more drive current but the result is the same...I want to transfer the input pulse, I do not care about swing and..., just I do it for ground isolation...but the result I see here is inverted input(green...
HI IanP,
Thanks for your answer,
I attach my schematic and the results. I may made a mistake in drawing or understanding your point. please have a look and provide me with your comments.
Thanks,
Ela
Hi Keith,
Thanks for your help, I really appreciate that.
leave aside what I said, I solved that problem about PMOS.
Talking about NMOS that You sent me, I can't get those waveforms, I attach the result.
Hi Keith,
I simulated the Pmos circuit..that works...the same as your file but the problem is that when I place a parallel mosfet with the capacitor the current is very low....
I got the slope by NMOS as well(practically, not in simulation) but I have the same problem....
I mean when I adjust...
Thanks a lot IanP,
For my understanding, can you tell me if the pulse in second part is a floating one with referenced to its GND(GND2)?
I have another question, If I want to simulated the my circuit in Spice, do you know how can I apply GND1 and GND2, I mean if spice consider these two GNDs...
Hi guys,
I have a digital pulse generated by a DAQ and is connected to a pulse generator IC.
I need to have a floating voltage so I was thinking about adding an optocoupler after digital pulse or in the output of the IC.
Either way, I do not know how to use the optocoupler for this purpose. Do...
Hi, Thanks for your answers,
I have another question, I have a digital pulse generated by a DAQ and want to change it to floating source...I thought about optocoupler(just diode and transitor) but I couldn't succeed in driving...the datasheet has no info....do have any help for me?
Thanks,
Ela
Hi guys,
I want to isolate two voltage supplies that I have in spice, I mean I do not want to connect their negative side together( In experiment, easily I do not connect) but what about in spice? I want to use one of the voltage supplies as a floating volatage supply.
any idea will be...
Thanks a lot Keith for your help.
The problem is that, I have used high-side gate driver to make a floating point but , when the T1 turns off the capacitor charges through the boot strap capacitor instead of discharging through the channel of T2,in addition, again I can not see the...
Thanks a lot Keith,
It is made from discrete parts so I can choose my components(MOSFETs and gate driver) individually.
What I am looking for is to see the slope when charging the capacitor. In other words, the Mosfet in parallel with capacitor is my DUT and I intend to stimulate its...
Hi keith, No it is NMOS and intended to work in active region(always)....then it would work as a current source....
You believe it should be a Pmos if I want it to work as a current source?
Hello Guys,
I have some problem and I really appreciate if you have a look at my circuit.Any comments, ideas, solutions,....are really appreciated!
I have a circuit like Fig.1
The theory is:
The upper MOSFET gate is driven to active region by very short pulse width (not less than 300us) and...
Re: Gate Driver IR2110
Thanks for your quick answer.
I have another question:
If I have a IC driver for low side, how can I use it for high side?
suppose that I am working with low voltage high current MOSFETS so I do not have high voltage rails, I mean I drive a half bridge circuit with...
hello everybody,
I have some trivial questions for you.....
Suppose using a gate driver like IR2110 to drive power mosfet:
1)to change the VGS, I have to change Vcc?
If yes, can I use different Vcc for drive HO and LO independantly?
2)In datasheet, it has mentioned the IR2110 is used to...
