The best way is to choose a suitable version of OS for your box, such as RHEL 3.0. Don't go too far with those newest version of OS.

There is an utility in IC610 - cdb2oa, under(IC610/tools.lnx86/dfII/bin/cdb2oa/).
This program can translate CDBA technology library to OA.

How about Xvision ?
Xvision Server Installation & Setup(This will also need "NutCracker" installed):
01) First you have to run and setup Xvision Software from the Cdrom folder:
\XSRV\XVISION\SETUP.EXE
02) When the installation is done, then click YES when prompt to REBOOT.
03)...
run this:
$> java -version
to see which java version installed.
or directly download a jre newer version from sun, and re-install this jre for your system.
Suggest use redhat RHEL 3.x instead of 4.x.

I supposed that what |IAngel| meant was to make a tar_ball of the installed tool. Then untared it in another new OS. Did you do in this way ?

If you can reach a target directly, why will you de-tour so far ? Suggest install a linux box directly for yourself, after all this is the best way to learn it.
