i2c eeprom write in pic16f877a
Hi Drshoe,
What compiler support it? Does it work with Hi-Tec C? I never know about that trick before. Thank you for your tips.
adding external eeprom to pic16f877
1. If your "memory" mean RAM then I think that 16f877 doen't support external ram or rom,AFAIK.
2. If you just want extra data storage then you can connect up to 8 i2c EEPROMS to the i2c port.
3. The only way I can think of is to optimize your code. If...
adc mcu
Yes, it (16f877) has 8 chs of 10 bits adc. If you don't need very high accuacy then you need no external adc. If you're sure that the input signal will not exceed 5v then I think that you can just connect the adc input with simple rc filters.
If you're not already have other tools...
adc to pc
Hi,
What wrong with PIC 16F877 or comparable? If you alredy know how to program PIC then it's extremely easy to program the ADC in PIC 16F8xx. I had also used MCP3208 from micochip and it's also easy to use with SPI interface.
microphonics inductor
What about microphonic problems in audio system? Are they real or fiction? I believe that this problem do exist in vacumm tube system but what about solidstate system? Is it really audiable?
I'm sorry if my questions are out of topic :P
hi,
How can I print PADS or gerber files to show through hole pads in donut form? I mean that I want to have the drill hole left unprint so that it'll look like a white disk in black donut pad. I want to have some single size PCB made by my local shop and they need that holes for their manual...
I had use ht-tech for quite sometime and have yet to find any problem with it except some little inconvenient during debugging with MPLAB. One big advantage for me is that it can be used with S@lvo RTOS freeware library. I'm not sure if other PIC compiler are supported with S@lvo.
I think that the more accurate method would be laser of some sort of optical device but I 't know almost nothing about that.
The practical method might be a decoder. I had seen some miniature machine tool use a radial decoder to read the position of the dial. Its accuracy is about 0.001"...
You need to have plenty of ram to run VMWare properly. I have 512MB and let VMware use 128MB. My host os is XP and my guest os is win98. Most application run fine with my configuration. I plan to run some Linux applications through Windows X server but don't have time to install/test it yet...
odyseus,
These might not directly answer your question but I have seen some computor case that have front access USB ports. If these type of case is generally known then I'm sorry for being ignorrance .
